The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural drama based on a book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. The series is about a 17-year-old girl, Elena (Nina Dobrev), who falls in love with the 162-year-old vampire, Stefan (Paul Wesley). Their relationship becomes even more complicated when Stefan’s brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) returns to get revenge on his brother for turning him into a vampire. Both vampires fall in love with Elena because she resembles Katherine (also portrayed by Nina Dobrev), a former love of the brothers.
