The Odd Couple had its expected second-episode-drop in the ratings. It is still doing quite well, but we will refrain from making a prediction until it has proven it can hold these numbers for a while longer.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is likely not making it to another season. Meanwhile, The Odd Couple premiered this week with quite a good adults 18-49 rating, but it remains to be seen if this will result in a renewal.

This week, CBS caused mayhem by billing the upcoming season finale of CSI as series finale. Although this still might be an honest mistake, it is adding to the pile of circumstantial evidence that the show will end after the current season.

This week CBS effectively cancelled The McCarthys. Even though the network is not willing to admit that the series is done, CBS pulled the remaining episodes off the schedule in favor of repeats of The Big Bang Theory.

CBS has pulled The McCarthys off of its schedule in favor of The Big Bang Theory repeats on February 5th and 12th. The network maintains that it is not cancelled since the unscheduled episodes might air some time in the future.

Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods have both been upgraded to Likely Renewals, due to steady performances. The McCarthys is still very much in danger.

CBS has opted to renew its freshman series NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion and Madam Secretary for second seasons.
