CBS Predictions: Under The Dome to be renewed, Extant will be cancelled

Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on CBS:

• CBS Predictions: Extant cancelled, Reckless cancelled, Unforgettable renewed (September 21st)
• CBS Predictions: Unforgettable will be renewed, Extant will be cancelled (August 24th)

During the summer there are fewer series airing and thus we will be making our predictions every other week. Starting in September, we will resume our normal routine in which we predict the future of the shows every week.

It has been two weeks since our last predictions and very little has changed for the current CBS shows. Extant’s ratings are still very steady, but unfortunately for the few fans out there, they are also quite low. This means Extant’s future doesn’t look so bright, certainly because Unforgettable is getting about the same ratings, but is a lot cheaper to produce. It is certain CBS will choose Unforgettable over Extant, unless the network decides to cancel both.

In the meantime, Under The Dome is going down a little in the adults 18-49 ratings. However, the show is still CBS’ highest rating show this summer and thus is certain to be renewed. On the other end of CBS’ rating spectrum there is Reckless. The series is the worst rating series this summer and even though the ratings were up slightly this week, the show will not make it to season two.
