Extant
Extant is no more. CBS has cancelled the low-rating summer drama after two seasons. The Halle Berry show wrapped its second season one month ago with a less-than-stellar 0.7 in the crucial adults 18-49 demographic.
Extant revolved around a female astronaut (Berry), who returned from a 13-month solo mission only to discover she was pregnant. This was not met with much enthusiasm from NASA, her husband or their android son.
Extant joins fellow sci-fi series Under The Dome at the cancelled bench. Just last week, Zoo became the only scripted summer series to be renewed.
