Blindspot

NBC has handed a nine back order to its freshman series Blindspot, meaning that the show will add 9 more episodes to the 13 already ordered to form a full 22-episode first season. This is the first full-season pick-up to be handed out across all broadcast networks this fall.

Being the first series to snag the back nine is fitting since Blindspot is also the fall’s biggest new series and biggest NBC series in adults 18-49 (average 2.7), and also the biggest increaser in Live+3 Days in total viewers (adding over 4.5 million versus Live+Same Day).

Blindspot revolves around a mysterious amnesiac (Jamie Alexander) showing up on Times Square with her entire body full of new tattoos. The FBI agent assigned to her case (Sullivan Stapleton) soon realized that each tattoo forms a clue to solving a crime.
