Once Upon A Time and Quantico Renewed at ABC

Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on ABC:

Quantico

Get ready for another round of FBI training at Quantico in the fall, because ABC has renewed Quantico for a second season. Additionally, the alphabet network has ordered a sixth season for fantasy drama Once Upon A Time. The latter show’s creator Adam Horowitz shared the good news on Twitter:

The renewals come just ahead of the shows’ midseason premieres which will air on Sunday, March 6th at 10/9c and 8/7c, respectively. They come on the heels of network president Paul Lee’s departure from ABC two weeks ago, and deviate from the network’s usual strategy of announcing nearly all of its renewals at the end of the season in May.

Once Upon A Time is still ABC’s Sunday anchor, even though it is down significantly versus last season, probably due to the Frozen arc the series did last year. Its most recent episode on December 6th got a 1.3 in adults 18-49.

Quantico has improved a lot over the previous occupant of its timeslot Revenge. Where Revenge got low 1’s and even some high 0’s in its final season, Quantico premiered at a 1.9 and steadied out at a 1.3 in the all-important demographic this fall.

And to Quantico creator Joshua Safran we say: Happy birthday!
