CBS has already announced the renewal or cancellation of quite a few of its shows back in March. The only remaining shows are the five freshman series, The Odd Couple, and CSI: Cyber.

One of the rookies is Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Its ratings aren’t the best of the bunch, but with its well-known mothership, they are good enough to earn the show a renewal. Other freshman show Supergirl has been doing very well in the coveted demographic from the start and is also certain of a second season. Meanwhile, Limitless has earned steady but mediocre ratings and they are going to be enough for a renewal as well. Rush Hour, CSI: Cyber and Code Black are not that lucky for obvious reasons (hint: bad ratings).

In the comedy section Life In Pieces and The Odd Couple are the only two shows left in the dark. Life in pieces has been getting very good ratings, helped by its The Big Bang Theory lead in. The Odd Couple‘s ratings haven’t been great, but they remain around CBS’ average for comedies. This means the show will be renewed to get another go at it next year.
