USA Network has announced that the upcoming 8th season of Royal Pains will be the show’s last. The 8-episode final season will kick off on Wednesday, May 18th.
The producers of the show have previously acknowledged that they assumed the show would end after season 8 after the show was left in limbo for a while after season 6 before getting renewed for two shortened seasons, and with no show on USA Network ever running beyond 8 seasons. Therefore, cast and crew of the show have already created a (w)rap up video, which you can check out below:
Royal Pains centers on an E.R. doctor (Mark Feuerstein) who, after being wrongly blamed for a patient’s death, moves to the Hamptons and becomes the reluctant “doctor for hire” to the rich and famous.
