CBS has renewed most of its lineup, but there are still plenty of shows left. Take Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, which held up good in its second episode and is now a Likely Renewal.
CBS renews 11 shows including Blue Bloods, Madam Secretary, Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS:LA, but no Criminal Minds or Supergirl

CBS has renewed a massive 11 series for the 2016-17 TV season, but conspicuously missing are Criminal Minds, CSI: Cyber and all of the network’s freshman series, including Supergirl, Limitless and Life In Pieces.

This week, Criminal Minds spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders actually had a decent premiere. With the show being a spin-off and a police procedural (CBS’ favorite genre), the series stands a good chance.

Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles are both certain to be renewed for another season. In the meantime, Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-0 are getting quite decent ratings, for Friday shows.

CBS has renewed its flagship drama NCIS for two more seasons, taking the show into 2018 and through a 15th season. Series star and executive producer Mark Harmon has also signed on to stay with the JAG spin-off for two more years.

Code Black concluded its season of low ratings and only a partial backorder. That means it will be cancelled. Life In Pieces has been doing a lot better with the lead-in from The Big Bang Theory.

Supergirl has launched itself well in between other shows that are likely or certain to be renewed, CSI: Cyber is consistently CBS’ lowest rating drama.
