Nick and the gang have been given more time to fight Black Claw and the Wesen uprising; NBC has renewed its veteran supernatural drama Grimm for a sixth season. The show is getting relatively low ratings, but compensates for that with the fact that it airs on Fridays (and nothing gets good ratings on Fridays) and that it is, according to NBC, one of TV’s most time-shifted series, adding 90% in adults 18-49 in Live+7 Days ratings. In Live+Same Day, the show is averaging a 0.9 in Adults 18-49 this season, but in Live+7 Days, this number grows to a very respectable 1.7.
“We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons,” NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement. “They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”
