America is done with variety shows. In a joint statement, NBC and Neil Patrick Harris have announced the cancellation of the ambitious live variety show Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris. Both NBC and Harris have expressed the desire to keep working together, although it is not clear yet on what type of project.
TNT cancels Public Morals, Agent X and Legends; renews two others

TNT is already doing some early spring cleaning, by cancelling three of its admittedly less popular series. The shows that are axed are Public Morals, Agent X and Legends. TNT has thus finally killed Sean Bean and released us from the horribleness of Agent X.
