The series follows Nina, a career-driven corporate attorney who has a very public nervous breakdown after she was passed up for an expected promotion. Now, she works as a public defender and is an underdog in the legal world. It turns her world upside down and makes her realize the law isn’t as fair as the used to think. Nina’s colleague, Phil, is a tall and handsome public defender.
