Shots Fired

Synopsis (also check out the trailer below):
Shots Fired is inspired by real-life current events and is about a series of racially charged shootings in a small town. The show centers on an investigator portrayed by Sanaa Lathan (Love & Basketball), who is investigating the shootings. As she works together with a prosecutor sent by the Department of Justice, she must navigate the media attention, public debate and social unrest. The pair seeks justice before the divided town erupts.
