ABC Predictions: Mistresses and Rookie Blue likely renewed

Rookie Blue

During the summer there are fewer series airing and thus we will be making our predictions every other week. Starting in September, we will resume our normal routine in which we predict the future of the shows every week.

On ABC there is only one scripted series which is airing original episodes at the moment: Mistresses. The series is steady in the ratings and with nothing to compare the show to right now we will not change our predictions. Just like Rookie Blue, which is currently on hiatus, Mistresses will remain a Likely Renewal. Motive, which ended its season two weeks ago, is still a Toss Up and will remain so until ABC makes an official statement about the show.

In a little over two weeks, three new series will premiere on ABC. Forever will debut on Monday September 22nd and you can read a review of the pilot here. Be advised, the review does contain spoilers about the episode. Furthermore, Black-ish and How To Get Away with Murder will premiere in the same week. There will also be the return of The Goldbergs and Nashville, among many others.
