ABC Predictions: Blood And Oil and The Muppets cancelled

ABC had a busy week this week in the renewals and cancellations department. It ordered a full season of Fresh Off The Boat, six more episodes for Quantico, and cancelled Rookie Blue.

In the meantime, The Muppets has lost more than half of the viewers that watched the series premiere only three weeks ago. It now matches Last Man Standing as ABC’s lowest-rating comedy. Especially because a stabilization does not seem imminent, The Muppets is now a Likely Cancellation.

Fellow new series Blood And Oil has gone fractional. In other words, it broke the 1.0 barrier in the wrong direction. As we all know by now, that means the show will not be around much longer. It already is a Likely Cancellation, but if it does not go back up by next week, there is no salvation left for Blood And Oil.
