Looks like everyone has listened to the final sentences of our Robin Oatley’s review of Of Kings And Prophets.

ABC has pulled the plug on its under-performing (that’s a euphemism) Biblical saga Of Kings And Prophets. The show premiered to a meager 0.8 in the all-important Adults 18-49 demographic, after which it dropped to an even-The-CW-doesn’t-like-this 0.5 in the coveted demographic. Sex sells, but it can’t sell everything.

The Tuesdays at 10/9c timeslot will be taken over by Beyond The Tank effective immediately. It is unclear if the remaining episodes of Of Kings And Prophets will ever see the light.
