FOX has renewed its two high rating live-action comedies The Last Man On Earth and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The Last Man On Earth will return for a third season after the summer, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be back for a fourth. Although not confirmed by the network, rumor is that a renewal for New Girl is also in the works.
Earlier renewals at FOX this season include a second season for Scream Queens, a third season for Gotham and for ratings-juggernaut Empire, and a twelfth and final season for Bones.
This move leaves freshmen Rosewood, Lucifer, Grandfathered, The Grinder, Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life, Bordertown, Second Chance and miniseries The X-Files without a decision, as well as veterans Family Guy and Sleepy Hollow.
