Review: The X-Files (FOX) - Unmistakably The X-Files
By Emily Donovan on January 25, 2016
The X-Files is back and does not disappoint. This is pretty much a first for a revival in a long time. Both the longtime fans and the newcomers to the series can enjoy the new adventures of Mulder and Scully, although the latter group might miss some inside jokes.
Review: DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (The CW) - Minor characters of two rather successful series unite!
By Robin Oatley on January 22, 2016
New The CW series DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow is a big Arrow/The Flash reunion which - although it has potential - still has to prove its originality.
Review: Baskets (FX) - Artsy and depressing but with a certain je ne sais quoi
By Daniel Redford on January 22, 2016
Baskets is a show that probably deserves to be made for its artistic value, but that does not necessarily mean that it is enjoyable to watch. Still, it does have a certain je ne sais quoi, which makes it worth giving it a try.
Preview: Vinyl (HBO) - That ‘70s sho- no wait, that’s the other one
By Robin Oatley on January 20, 2016
Vinyl is set in 1970s New York and takes us through the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop. The series is series made by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, and even if the ’70s vibe might be a bit much at times, the series is definitely worth a try.
Review: Angie Tribeca (TBS) - What in the world did I just watch
By Emily Donovan on January 18, 2016
Rashida Jones (Parks And Recreation) stars in TBS’ newest comedy Angie Tribeca as a 10-year veteran of the LAPD’s elite Really Heinous Crimes Unit, or RHCU. I expected Angie Tribeca to be a bit more toned down. However, it is beyond satirical.
Review: Billions (Showtime) - Fighting between the lines
By Daniel Redford on January 17, 2016
Billions is a high-stakes drama set in the Wall Street world of hedge funds. It excellently shows how the tensions start to rise between Axelrod and Rhoades, but only for those with patience.

You, Me And The Apocalypse is a surprisingly entertaining British co-produced science fiction dramedy chock full of big names from American television, including Jenna Fischer, Rob Lowe, and Megan Mullally.
Preview: American Crime Story (FX) - O.J. Simpson revisited
By Daniel Redford on January 16, 2016
The first season of true crime anthology American Crime Story will revolve around the infamous O.J. Simpson murders, including the globally televised low-speed car chase, and the subsequent criminal trial. Keep an eye out for this one.
Review: Shadowhunters (Freeform) – So. Much. Cringe.
By Robin Oatley on January 13, 2016
Clary is an angel-human hybrid destined to fight against demons and other supernatural beings. She just doesn’t know it yet. And if I were you, I wouldn’t watch her find out. Spoiler alert: the series is bad. Really bad.
