NBC Predictions: Telenovela and You, Me And The Apocalypse cancelled
By Daniel Redford on February 21, 2016
Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on NBC:
- NBC Predictions: Game Of Silence likely to be cancelled (April 17th)
- NBC Predictions: Crowded Cancelled; Grimm has been Renewed (April 10th)
Co-production with British channel Sky1 You, Me And The Apocalypse is not doing too hot on NBC. In four episodes, it has lost 50% of its already-quite-low 1.2 in Adults 18-49 premiere rating. The fact that it is a co-production and that it airs in a very difficult timeslot save it from becoming a Certain Cancellation right away, but if it goes any lower than this, there is no salvation possible. You, Me And The Apocalypse is now a Likely Cancellation.
A little less than a month ago, we considered upgrading Telenovela to a Likely Renewal, but it didn’t make the cut because it was losing too much compared to Superstore. Now, both shows have dropped a little in the ratings, and for Telenovela, that means it has gone fractional several times now. Therefore, Telenovela is now a Likely Cancellation.
