CBS is the next network to mass renew its shows, after The CW and ABC did that earlier this month. A massive 11 series have received orders for the 2016-17 TV season, but conspicuously missing are Criminal Minds, CSI: Cyber and all of the network’s freshman series, including Supergirl, Limitless and Life In Pieces.

The renewed shows, in no particular order, are 2 Broke Girls, Mom, Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Elementary, Scorpion, Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Earlier renewals were given to The Big Bang Theory and NCIS. During the Super Bowl, CBS announced taht The Good Wife will end after the current season.

This leaves Criminal Minds, CSI: Cyber and all CBS freshman series in limbo. The decision to hold off on renewing the rookies is curious in light of recent comments made by CBS President Les Moonves saying that “about five” new series would be renewed. Subtracting the already cancelled Angel From Hell, CBS has six freshman series this season, of which only four (Supergirl, Code Black, Limitless and Life In Pieces) have been airing for a while, one just premiered (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) and one is yet to premiere (Rush Hour).
