CBS Predictions: Elementary to be renewed

Other recent Renewals and Cancellations on CBS:

• CBS Predictions: Mom and 2 Broke Girls Renewed (March 13th)
• CBS Predictions: Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles renewed (March 6th)

This week CBS announced the ending of The Good Wife. Although the network refuses to call it what it is, a cancellation, it did announce the upcoming season finale will also be the series finale. Angel From Hell got off a lot less nicely. The show was yanked from the schedule and subsequently cancelled.

Meanwhile it becomes clear Elementary will be safe for another year. The show performs just fine, and CBS is known for only cancelling syndication shows which air on Sundays or Fridays. The Good Wife is an excellent example of this. Although Elementary is not the network’s best show, as long as it avoids Friday and Sunday time slots it will be fine. Elementary is thus certain to be renewed.
